Ok so i’m a 14 year old in grade 8 and i’m 5′ 1" and the people i go to school with are all quite tall. My "friends" (girls and boys) will "joke" around with me about it like "why are you so short" "are you ever gonna grow" "jeeze you’re short" and other ones that really make me feel bad. FYI My shortest friend is 5′ 6"…. I will try to defend my self and they FREAK out saying were just kidding, take a joke. (to me this isn’t funny) And if i ignore it it just keeps coming . I know my height is something i cant control and i’m not gonna lie it bother me but i try to make the best of it and i’m really concerned that the teasing it gonna get worse in High School.
What can i say back to them? (without sounding like i’m really pissed)
Is 5′ 1" really that short? (PLEASE TELL ME THE TRUTH I CAN HANDLE IT)
Why do people do this?
Do guys like Short or Tall girls ( AGAIN Truth PLEASE)

One of my good friends is having a birthday party. She is inviting people that I really don’t feel comfortable around and we’ll be playing stuff like truth or dare and I wouldn’t be comfortable doing/saying/answering these things in front of them. She really wants me to go and I want to go for her but I don’t know if I should. I sound really selfish, I know, but I don’t want to go and not be able to be myself. Oh…. and there’s another factor. My friends older brother is my boyfriend and by the time of her birthday we would have been going out for almost two months. My friend will be having the other girls she’s inviting use "cheesy pick up lines" on him and his friend and I’m not going to not let her but I know she’ll have me do one on Michael (his friend) and I really don’t like Michael because he is trying to break us up. So should I go or not? HELP!

So my friend thinks she is bomb. com when it comes to being funny. Truth is- shes not.

Everyone knows it and slightly groans when she tries. She tries so hard. She does fit in well and shes a great person just that shes so incredibly unfunny that it makes you cringe.

Like for instance, if you said "god, shes such a cow!" shed be like "ya and she eats a lotta grass!hahahah!"

and then if something ridiculously funny happend in class like some one said orgasm instead or organism, shed repeat what happend to ANYONE who would listen. And that person could be the one who said orgasm! Like, hello? they know?!

And if you ever say to her, "ur not funny you know" or "was that a joke,sorry I forgot to laugh" shed snap (especially to me) "Im funnier than you’ll ever be!"

Then if you stare back in shock or storm off shes like "hahaha take a joke!"

I think she says it to me coz, even if i say it myself, i do have a wickedly cruel dry sense of humour and can come up with one liners and a comeback for anything. I know i may sound all stck up and full of myself but its who I am. The funny one, its just me.

When i say something funny, my friends actually laugh. With my friend, they kinda manage a weak unconbvincing giggle then look away.

Im not being mean to my friend i just dont want her to be made fun of by other people when they notice shes not funny. Im protecting her.

So do you think I should just tell her shes not funny, itl be hard coz shel prob take it harshly and not talk to me for days…and if i do say something…what will i say?

or should I just let her be and hope for the best?
