As Gloria Steinem put it, "People who aren’t racist or sexist don’t make racist or sexist jokes. They don’t consider such "jokes" funny."
How come people who make racist or sexist "jokes" or "ridicule" don’t consider themselves racist or sexist?

I was looking a group status on facebook and one update said "Like this if you hate racist jokes" and like 175 people liked it. Then the next update was "Do any of you have any racist jokes? 
" and a ton of people said they were funny and people who don’t think so are sensitive people.
QUESTIONS:
1. Do you think racist jokes are funny? Why or why not?
2. Do you think people who don’t think they’re funny are sensitive? Or does everyone think that it’s okay to laugh at this stuff because it proves how open minded and un-bigotted they? Why do you think so?
